Angela Troy is the Founder and CEO of Troy Consulting, a dynamic management consulting firm recognized for innovation and diversity. Under Angela’s leadership, Troy Consulting has achieved remarkable success, including being honored with Microsoft’s Prestige Award as the Diverse Supplier of the Year. With over 25 years of experience in the field and a proven entrepreneur since 2006, Angela has consistently demonstrated her exceptional leadership. She has honed her expertise through leadership roles at renowned organizations such as Ernst & Young, LLP/Cap Gemini, and Point B Solutions Group.

Before her career in management consulting, Ms. Troy gained expertise and contributed talents to both The Boeing Company, where she supported electrical power systems design and analysis for the Boeing 767 AWACS program, and the IBM Corporation, where she served as a manufacturing process engineer intern. Her diverse background spans multiple industries, including healthcare, software development, telecommunications, retail, real estate, and legal services.

Angela earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Digital Signal Processing and Telecommunications from the University of Washington, laying the foundation for her technical prowess. Committed to continuous learning, she completed a certificate in Digital Transformation with a focus on Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and Blockchain from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), graduated from the Minority Executive Business Program at the University of Washington, and graduated from the Digital Excellence Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Beyond her professional achievements, Angela maintains strong ties with the community. She serves on the Board of Directors of Food Lifeline, an organization focused on providing food to people facing hunger today, while working to end hunger for tomorrow, while also ensuring that everyone has a human right to equitably access the nutritious and culturally relevant food that enables them to thrive. She remains an active advisor at the University of Washington Foster School of Business guiding students dedicated to the growth of local diverse businesses.

Angela is a member of several influential organizations, including the Women’s President’s Organization (WPO), the Northwest Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council (NWMMSDC), and Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBENC). Her dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace and the community earned her Consulting Magazine’s prestigious DEI Champion Award, a testament to her ongoing mission to drive positive change.
